Every child deserves a party where they feel included, understood, and celebrated, and we’re delighted to introduce our Special Educational Needs (SEN) birthday parties— carefully designed experiences where the adventure is tailored entirely to your child.

We know that busy, loud, or unpredictable parties can feel overwhelming for some children — and that’s OK. Our parties aren’t about ticking boxes or sticking to the scripts. They’re about meeting your child where they are and creating a world where they can feel confident, calm, and full of joy.

Whether your child wants to explore quietly, lead the way, join in their own time, or just watch the magic unfold — we’ve got them.

SEN Parties Led by Experts Who Care

Our SEN parties are lovingly led by Amber, our SEN party leader and trainer. She’s been with Adventure Team for over five years and brings not only incredible experience but a genuine passion for helping every child shine.

Amber’s training includes:

• Makaton and Basic BSL

• Level 3 in Autism Awareness

• Level 3 in Training and Instructing

• SEND Safeguarding (Level 1)

• Paediatric and Workplace First Aid (Level 3)

But more than that — she gets it. She’s here to listen, adapt, and work closely with you to plan something truly special for your child.

What Makes an Adventure Team SEN Party Special?

Each party is designed with you and for your child. That might include:

• A smaller, quieter group

• Break-out spaces or sensory-friendly zones

• Gentle games, storytelling, or creative activities

• Flexible structure — we follow your child’s lead

• Makaton signing, visual aids, or simplified instructions

• Familiar characters and stories adapted to your child’s interests

We’ll speak to you ahead of time to get to know your child — what they love, what makes them laugh, and what helps them feel safe. Then we’ll build a unique party where they’re not just part of the adventure — they are the adventure.
